Percursos Pedonais e Ligações Mecânicas

The proposal includes the recreation of an urban path along Porto's riverside front, between the Crystal Palace, Miragaia, and Virtudes, aiming to make the climbs and stays on its staircases, platforms, and viewpoints more comfortable.

The introduction of new mechanized connections at strategic points - a public elevator and upward-moving escalators - enables a more qualified and pleasant walk for the city's inhabitants and visitors, establishing connections between different central areas (Praça da Galiza, Miragaia, and Cordoaria), "palaces" with different historical significances (Crystal Palace, Palace of the Sirens, and Palace of Justice), and popular viewpoints (Torre da Marca and Passeio das Virtudes).
